The second generation Volkswagen T-Roc exterior design got leaked even before its world debut. While it shares the same basic shape as its predecessor, the updated T-Roc has elements about its design that borrow cues from the latest Tiguan and other modern models from Volkswagen.

- Front and rear overhangs are incremental.
- An angular line forms up from the front fender and extends onwards to the doors and rear fender.
- Retains a large C-pillar, slightly more tapered now, merging into the sloping roofline.
Rear Design
- Combination lamp is with that now-moderning look of being linked by way of light bar.
- The rear bumper looks more streamlined compared to that of the outgoing model.
Powertrain Possibilities
- No official information yet, but most likely more than one turbo petrol engine option offered, possibly diesel depending on the region of sale.
- Supposed to share a powertrain with the latest-generation Golf hatchback.
Volkswagen’s Plans for the Indian Market
The T-Roc of the first generation makes a limited CBU entry into the Indian market. There have not been any announcements yet if the second-generation T-Roc will come to India, but the all-new compact SUV based on the Skoda Kushaq should arrive for the Indian market. In addition, a three-row Tayron SUV might very well launch in India soon.
