MG Windsor EV Prices Increased by ₹50,000; Check The Revised Price

Windsor EV was launched by JSW MG Motor India in September 2024 both with outright purchase cost and subscription – Battery as a Service (BaaS). The car was initially starting at ₹13.50 lakh and could go up to ₹15.50 lakh and the company announced that the IA introductory pricing period has now come to an end. It has been only four months after it launched the cars, MG hiked the prices across all models by ₹50,000.

Price Hike for MG Windsor EV and BaaS Model

JSW MG Motor India today has given notification for revision in prices of Windsor EV to bring to an end the low introductory offer. The hike impacts all three variants of the battery and the subscription model called the Battery as a Service (BaaS).

  • Excite: Expensive because before this the price was approximately ₹13.50lakh and now made the new price at ₹14,00,000.

  • Essence: Retardation had climbed down from ₹ 15.50 lakh to ₹ 16 lakh.

BaaS Model Update:

  • Old Price: ₹3.5 per kilometre
  • New Price: ₹3.9 per kilometre

This revision is consistent with MG’s action plan after the Windsor EV’s first launch experience.

Four modes: Regular, Economy, Comfort and Sport modes depending on the vehicle’s usage by the driver.
